Real strength takes time to develop. Getting over seizures in public
Now this is a bit full on for me, the thought of someone tampering with my brain. Although playing devils advocate,if your seizures create enough dysfunction, you should look at all avenues that look at progress and change. It's not instantaneous the results we see, but we need to take risks if we want positive results. my epilepsy started in my early teens, but lucky for me at the time I had a mindset not to let it define me. Focus on something outside of the epilepsy. Change your diet to a healthier one, meditate to calm and soothe the mind. I usually go for long walks it helps me document my ideas with the recorder on my phone, and express my feelings in a positive arena. A journal is a great idea, it will help you recognize key triggers and look at how your medication is working for you. How are it's side effects affecting you, how can you counter them? It's important to face epilepsy looking at a positive outcome.
How some people have cured seizures?
Does this actually work, I'd feel like I was simply getting high for the sake of getting high. My gosh epilepsy and at times it's shenanigans. Mentally epilepsy requires a form of exercise, exercise is the bodies retribution for any disassembly.get active, go for walks, sfrolls around the park, take yourself dancing, put yourself in a positive frame of mind for doing hobbies you are excited about daily and things you enjoy, structure your day, and do not let epilepsy dominate your experience of living. Epilepsy is only a small part of who you are and your experience of life.Don't make it the centre.
Power to be positive
I recently watched a video on an epileptic going skydiving, he had a seizure in mid air. My guess is, he came right back and did it all over again. It's a personality type, a risk taker, a go getter, someone with guts. A disability does not define you, you define you. Whether your little large, big or small, your mindset defines who you become your rabbits tell the world who you are. When I think of this as an epileptic it's not the seizure that defined the moment, this guy had the guts to go ahead and seize the day......literally.it takes a lot of power to be positive after a moment like this.
