Access to the evolving Job Market: other opportunities and other ways to get them

Access to the evolving job market: Different ways to find new opportunities

It is important to believe in your potential, believe in who you are and what you can do, believe in the possibilities that are out there, where others see lack , you must see the gap you must see the opportunity. Wether it's volunteering, wether it's work experience, the chance to engage others to connect, to communicate , to showcase your strength, your ideas, to allow your skill set to be shown and the value you can add to the company to be acknowledged. What can you bring to the table, of the company you are trying to integrate yourself with.

Do you have excellent communication skills, are you a great networker, great negotiation skills, knowledge of finance and economics, knowledge of bidding and procurement, knowledge of marketing, and SEO , of different social media brands and algorithms and how to acquire high profile on each platform
It is important that you show all your strengths and your experiences, how did you use your time in other work or social scenarios to extend yourself, and develop your skills. What did you learn, what programs, did you put in place? How did you position yourself with the marketing team, did you help with strategy, with ideas for innovation, how about other areas like campaign ideas, ways the companies could get sponsorship, ways the companies could get grant funding and finance.

Were you ever introduced to the partners or key leaders at any events, did you organise any events, and how if you entered the company would you manage your time if you were given a role. It's always about adding value. Individuals are often promoted or hired in the first place into key positions or roles, because they have the ability to add value to the firm in one way or another. The company believes they are a valued asset, they have the potential to encourage the expansion of the companies fruitfulness and improve development.

Which means companies will look at who their hiring, pay attention to the CV, although there are new programs and software that is allowing managers to avoid looking at cv's in bulk, you can engage hiring managers on sites like linkedin, check out applications on otta.com, and apply for jobs by engaging the people in charge. Follow up with emails. Make phone calls if you can.

Find out what recruitment programs are available at the job centre, job fairs, work fairs, career programs, go to networking events, you never know who knows what. The more you network, the more you know.
Try and build excellent communication skills , pay attention to little things you can ask the other person on the phone, little jokes you can make to relax them so they warm up to you and remember you.

For example you can say I imagine it's been hectic in the office, and you understand their looking forward to lunch break, pay attention to little gaps in the conversation. Listening is always the way you get in. Conversations have holes, and those holes have opportunities. Those opportunities give you access. When I used to go to church the pastor would always say to us your blessings will always come through speech, it will be something someone shares with you, it is the power of the spoken word. People often abuse information because it's too available, but when you apply information it gives you access. When I used to have meetings with investors when I first tried to l launch my businesses, they were all talking about what was trending in the fintech markets. Data. All the investors were investing capital in data.

Data utilised and gathered in the right way, from things like memberships subscribers, audiences, hubs, many of my concepts began with this introductions, so I often attracted a lot of investor friends, contacts and connections. They were eager to talk to me about how I came up with some of these concepts, and ideas, some of my concepts for platforms, for projects, for even hubs.  Were very intriguing to these individuals because they had the mind for it, they had the vision , and also they had the access to realise these kinds of projects. It's often about making sure you have all the right resources.

Pieces of my puzzle

Many heroes and heroines of any success story will tell you they have failed at many points in their trial, wept tears, had their hearts sink to the bottom of their shoes because life felt so impossible. The dream remained fiction, illusion, story, and no matter how much they sweated, bled, and wept pain, nothing seemed to come to life. Success seems at times to be a postcard from another universe, and each time you hear the dialogue of others chorusing about their glory, you are filled with a stone in your throat. Take heart, my father always said the vision may tarry but it will surely come to pass. Have a checkpoint, let that checkpoint give you hope when everything else is falling to shit. Faith, belief, and where I failed many a time was consistency. No one has the right to tell you it is impossible when men walk on moons, when rockets leave Earth, when millionaires are made in new continents every minute due to insight, understanding, knowledge and development. I find myself frustrated so many times, in contempt of a reflection I once adored, searching for a self I once remembered. I lost fragments of myself in this thirst to win, yet I continue to press on because I am morphed to this new shadow.Glued to this spirit, who is both woman, child and girl. There are pieces of my puzzle missing and yet, I hold unto this, a little hope a little light, enjoy the process, and remember how beautiful it is to loose yourself in the work. Enjoy the journey.

Growth 4 billion hits

A goal should never sleep, it is unwinding, uprooting itself from the content in your mind, to the prospect of productivity. You have been ready a very long time, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is pArt and parcel of the course. People often say know your limitations , I say defy your limitations. There are men and women walking on moons, visiting planets , and your challenge continues to fade with every whisper of caution. In life we are the obstacles, your mindset defines how you will end up and what you will accomplish. It is real to believe that yes you may get tired, the Jekyll in you might come out and Mr Hyde is conflicted once more. It is not easy to chase a dream. Dreams are smug little things, like children they like to be chased round trees ,charmed, but they can never be seduced. There is no way around it, you must do the work.

I swear in school I was the laziest kid, popular, likeable , but lazy. I could always charm my teachers with a smile, concoct the most ridiculous excuses, and avoid doing the Labour. Yet life requires if the dream is intense, so must be the time you put into it.

Mesothelioma law firm

  1. Cancer the word, it cripples you, you are stunned into.the specifics of your body becoming a strange object. Alien separate and different from you, you look at all its parts studying them with.microscopic intensity. Knowing that a bullet was shot, and your gritting it between your teeth. You analyse your diet, think carefully of what you tell the kids, family, friends, and of course colleagues. Mesothelioma can be called many things, yet it is the point at which you begin to fight, and now there are mesothelioma  lawyers to fight alongside you. Assist you with areas such as securing your home in the meantime, as you may be dealing with medical bills. Being a support network and an adviser to your family, dealing with such issues as life insurance. If you come against any opposition at work, a mesothelioma lawyer will ensure you have a fair case. For example you may need to.work on a caseload, but your boss cleverly decides that because your working from home, he should lower your pay, or experiencing disability discrimination and suddenly begin to acquire less workload, or were the shoe in for a promotion. Lawyers act as legal guardians, they fight to help give you and your family with their firm. There are a million scenarios that appear when we're vulnerable, we just need the support network to assist us.

jealous sky

rich man
and pocket
Buy me the sun
Buy me the clouds
Till sky is numb
That vast purple orange
Receptor
Waking you with
Naive a smile
Yet when
A self
Becomes inspector
Those banished dreams
Aren't worth
aqua in sky
This tricky sun
Belongs
 in my pocket
bury it deep
Till we both
Implode
And when the world
Is tot to darkness
I will fill them
With songs of gold

A spec of success

How scared are you of your own ambitions? Scared it might work, scared it couldn't work? Scared of who you'll become when you make it, scared the people you love most will turn on you, so you call a stale mate. Fear isn't the answer to progress, planning and movement is. Moving forward isn't just scary, sometimes it can be terrifying. What do we do? Who will we become? Will we ever accomplish enough? Guess what...you'll never know unless you try. You will have absolutely never know unless you try, and you fail, over, and over, and over again. Or even succeed a few times. Just do something before you rip your own hair out. Even if it's tiny. It may not mean something to anyone else, but it will mean something to you

Establishing your ideals

Ideals are such beautiful things. We dream of the holidays we'll go on , the cars we'll drive, the houses we'll live in. Coulds instead of shoulds. For our ideals to be realised it takes hard work. Hard work not glory work. Hard work is the work you get on with privately. Work that doesn't need a voice box. When I was younger even sometimes at present, I think the more you talk about it, whistle and sing; the more it gets accomplished. Here's a painful reality, talking isn't doing. Nobody is going to hit that goal, and do the work for you. The universe is testing us, she wants to see wether were all show and no go. If you are, or you have been. It's time to make a change. Then again, everybody in life has been a hypocrite. We talk out of our own excitement. Talking consistently about something, doing nothing about it, will ensure that nothing gets done. Commitment is realising that whilst your gruelling away you wont get that pat on the back. Sometimes you may be struggling on a product, and find that your being called a looser, being put down, made to feel small, inadequate, inferior. Yet in your heart you know that you are pushing and striving away. One day, that work will come to fruition. That hard work you put in that nobody saw, nobody respected, nobody got, will work out, and you will be filled with pride because you accomplished something spectacular.

Happiness

Happiness is not just about the image on the post card, or something you see on tv. It's gratitude, and the systematic appreciation of what you have around you. Giving love, thanks, sharing the peace you can find within and blessing those around you. It's the words you say in your self conscious, and what you utter into the universe.

People often say things like be grateful for small mercies. Indeed. Gratitude is the key to releasing many blessings in the universe. Celebrate all the little things you've taken for granted. The friends you joke with, the family that support you, if you work, the job you may be conflicted with but are glad you have, the vacations you've taken or are destined to take. The success you have accomplished, or are destined to achieve and accomplish. Find something awesome to smile or laugh about and grin till all you are is teeth, and booming energy.

The emancipation of your imagination: Inspiration and where to find it

Your walking along a muddy pasture. It's expected anyway, but right there you see a huge pile of dung (shit). When you walk to the left of it, it kind of looks like a human hand, your Friend 'Ben' would probably get a real kick out of this. Although he has a carrot shaped like some bunny ears, and a mango with an indent that looks like MikeTyson .... Inspiration

Inspiration. It can be found somewhere and everywhere. If you don't pay attention, you wont discover it. Maybe it's walks you take, swimming, watching a movie, flicking through pages of an immaculate, uncreased, 1960's issue of vogue. If you don't look, you wont find. Seek, and search deep. Some people find inspiration when they spill too much jam on an overly cooked pancake, they invent a new recipe, maybe pancakes and chilli, with a hint of black eyed beans. A creative way to teach an annoying mother in law, not to intrude on an early sexual encounter with hubby. Whatever it is, Unlike the stories we've been sold many a time about geniuses like Picasso, monet and many others kissed with the gift of inspiration. Inspiration takes imagination, and imagination, takes work. A sense of freedom, and not torturing yourself with perfectionism. Anthony Robbins once said someone who worked for him had made the most genius statement. "We write for the waste paper basket," if your a writer anyway. Freedom to think, explore, design, adjust, should always be apparent in the initial stages.  Enjoy your work, but more importantly, enjoy why your working. Whenever you feel it is turning into a chore, amp up the music, switch on a seminar that motivates and inspires you, go renegade on yourself. There is enough energy, enough flow, to help you on your journey. Take yourself to a peaceful place of flow. It is your treat.

Whistle while you work: From vision to action

Sometimes big picture visualisations, distract us from present picture reality. The project or idea we've been working on is going to take actual physical sometimes intense labour. As delicious and juicy as big pictures and starry skys are change needs work. Work that demands sacrifice. Work that makes you exhausted, frustrated, dealing with other's you may not like or plundering through miles of research, gems, and then drought. Methods, strategies, and action which you may not be ready to pat yourself on the back for. It could be years before you see even a glimmer of success, or the people around you start boom boxing their ooh's and ahs. If you dont put the work in you wont get the dream. This is what i tell myself when i'm feeling lazy, or dragging my feet. I believe in the law of attraction, and harvesting a positive mindset attracts positive things, yet when your trying to get past a milestone, i believe a good balancing act of action and reward gets the job done. image by Ivan Andreevich

Mental chess the game of a bully: Why some guys are so mean

It's a cruel way for certain guys to validate their ego's and big themselves up. The more insecure a guy is, the nastier at times he will act. Girls often ask the question why are some guys so mean to the girls they like? Deep down in some cases it's an opportunity to side step the pain of rejection. It's a phase of denial.

I believe in healthy expression as i've experienced so much of the opposite from the wrong guys. A guy that has to act mean, that has to act cruel, and vindictive just to proove they have no affinity to you, is kinda pathetic. There are guys who act mean because they struggle to express themselves. Their too proud or too arrogant to say look it hurts me that when i walk into a room you ignore me, it hurts that you don't know my star sign, you don't laugh with me the way you do with other guys.

There's another side to it. I once experienced a guy who sensed i was attracted to him, and acted so appaulingly it was pathetic. I'm a very proud person, very stubborn, very independant. I won't wrap my arms around your ankles, or spend our 'precious time' shadowing you. He would insult me as often as he could, make a point to sit as far away from me as possible, spread poison about me till soon enough it hit home. This guy was a cockroach who wasn't worthy of my attention. He was a jerk and a complete and utter moron. I quickly decided his personality ruined his more than mediocre looks.I decided to ignore him and soon enough like any typical ego maniacal looser, he didn't like it. He began to gravitate around me, and realise as shallow as he could be, so could i. My attentions could be deposited elsewhere. Everytime he walked into the room i would pretend as if i couldn't see him.I'd actually mentally convinced myself that he didn't exist. I could literally feel the anger resonating from him everytime he waltzed into the room and saw my eyes fixed elsewhere. It was hillarious.

Simply put nobody has a right to believe they can treat you cruelly because they have your attention....as fleeting as it can be. It's not on. I've had guys chase me, or guys i've been attracted too, that have either wanted to date me or rejected me. Nobody ever behaved like such a looser. People who behave like this are either cruel spirited, extremely insecure and classless. Despite their amature dramatics, they often crave the attention. If someone is nasty, unless your sending them an email from a distance, or talking to them over the phone. Keep your space, until they growup and acquire some much needed self respect. This isn't just for chics, this applies to guys as well. People like this have serious issues.I once had a friend who literally terrorised every guy that approached her, unless get this....it was someone that would later ridicule or humiliate her. When i asked her why she was like this. She confessed that it was because the guys she liked had always called her ugly, unattractive,or compared her to a primitive animal, despite her being very attractive.Ironically the guy who acted disgracefully had admitted that when he approached women a lot of the times they snobbed him and acted superior. Behaviour is sometimes viral, it's hard not to take it personally, but it's the truth. Sometimes attitudes are recycled, people act out due to their experiences with someone else. They see that person as superior to them, and they want the opportunity to feel superior too.

Don't get me wrong there are genuinely idiots who believe the way to get someones attention is act immaturely, and i try and do forgive and forget as much as the next person. Yet if your a guy or a chic getting juiced up on the whole 'their playing hard to get' concept, despite the possible object of your affections being clearly vile. How comfortable is it to feel that small? Is it delicious when there's witnesses present and you feel so embarassed you could crawl into your own shoes?
Even if everyone else acts like their behaviour is okay, how do you feel....the target?

At the time this idiot was acting like such a moron, my illness was getting worse. My panic attacks were unbearable,my photography business had left me depressed.I was also more vulnerable because i'd recently experienced something traumatic, and lost someone close. Not only would i have to deal with all these things emotionally,i would dread attending where i had to be because one fool had made it their life's quest to sabotage me. For a short while i thought maybe it is ppts (pulling pig tails syndrome)which is when someone likes you but acts like they hate you. I realised it was a mixture of jealousy (i'm a next level creative brainiac)ego and prejudice. No one acts that nastily if they even vaguely like you. Despite my good intentions and my obsessive cleanliness. I'd been called dirty, socially alienated, him and his friend would look for sly ways to ensure i didn't have business cards, he'd make sure any new ideas of mine were frozen out, he would insult me about my skin tone, the country i came from, despite having the same skin tone, originating from the same country. He would compete with me at every level, and would only act genuinely nice when there was no one else present. He was a nasty, vile piece of work. I made a choice to leave that workplace as quickly as possible, because no matter how nice i was, how hard i worked or how creative i was( which was off the scales)he would find a way to sabotage me. He was the archetypal bully. I returned to their location a while ago, to visit the one person that had moved me, inspired me. He didn't just talk out of his neck, he was hard working, focussed, driven. He was a real person.

When i stepped in i remembered how disgustingly i'd been treated. That a woman who was getting over an attack, facing epilepsy, finally having the courage to step out into society, and attempt to connect with people had been treated so despicably. The people in authourity had been too useless, brainwashed, and weak, to discipline someone who had acted like an out and out cockroach. I felt sick, and angry, and hurt, and i left there quickly reminding myself that till the day i died i never wanted to set eyes on those people again. They stood for nothing, especially him.

Badly behaved people are still human beings, at some point their consciences vaguely prick them, and they say to themselves was this right? Did this person deserve such animosity? When the crush haze was removed, i remembered originally i got along with most people on the team quite well, it was only him that seemed angry and cliquish. Then the more i produced ideas for his team, which were creative and very effective. The more this hatred within him grew. And when i would be appreciated or complimented for my ideas and vision, he would lash out. The more nervous i got, the happier he got. The more miserable i became, the more confident he became, and when i was isolated he actually felt like he was worth something. It's funny the people you meet sometimes. Your tryna pull yourself together and the universe plays such emotional games.

I reminded myself that i did have some class and decorum. I reminded myself that i'd learnt something, not so much about rejection, but about human principles. After i left the building that day i recieved an email. Despite ridiculing me,they had gone ahead and used my title for a campaign idea. I imagine the concepts i'd produced had finally secured extra funding for the team , something they had been struggling to get. Someone incompetent, nasty had managed to ride off my ideas and unfairly secured a future for themselves. I asked myself one simple question. Would i have treated them in such a shameful manner? No.Have i ever treated anybody in such a shameful manner? when i was popular or unpopular, would i have been so jealous, so over competitive, such a coward? The answer was no. In time i did contact him and wish him well, because i believe in that.

In order to cancel the poison you have to make peace internally with yourself, and that person's behaviour.Simply put you don't want to loose your faith in humanity. At the core of me i find it imperative to believe that there are people with good hearts out there. People who do believe in what's right, who do respect others, and their feelings. Because life would be so bleak if i didn't.

Whether your a guy or your a woman, and your questioning if someone's being mean because they like you, or simply why is this person mean? There is a whole universe out there. Billions of priceless people with heart that don't need to be nasty or cruel spirited, immature to express themselves to anybody. Sometimes good people are in a poor emotional situation and act out, because that's how their feeling at the time. Just consistently remind yourself you don't deserve it, and you don't respect it. It is not allowed.
