Truths unspoken

You lie
You tell sweet little lies
Like soft marshmallow s
Weeping in.my stomachs
I wipe my salt lake tears
Study my symmetry
In the mirror
Your lies
Make the whole world distorted
I look.at that gaping wound
That's your mouth
Your sentences are yellow smoke
Your eyes are black marble
I search for the green
That paints your pupils
The flesh
Of a self
Not scalded in lies
The snot drips
Down the back of my throat
I wish I could see myself
Once more

The pain of other peoples lies

There's nothing more frustrating than the pain of other people's lies. It's not so much what they do, but the fact they dare to think they can do it, lie about it, and make you appear emotionally unstable to those around you. Cruelty which stems from envy, the need to have a sense of power and control over others and the lives they live. These things are done consistently and then they gaslight you. Gas lighting is a form of emotional abuse when someone close to you or in your viccinity, humiliates or degrades you over a period of time, making you feel less than adequate, then convincing you it's all in your head. That you imagined such things. It's disgusting, cowardly, hurtful, but above all it's the most malicious form of abuse there is. They systematically bully and attempt to convince you, its all in your head, when you and others witnessed what was taking place. We often wonder how such people live with themselves, how they justify such cruelty, and how with such a weak spirit. They embrace a feeling of strength. If someone is degrading you, humiliating you, ridiculing you in some way, not once in a while, it is consistent but it is done cleverly and insidiously, you may think you are loosing your mind, think your on tilted edge. They want you to believe you imagined these things and they came out of thin air, why would you invent such cruelty out of thin air, for the love of it? For the fun of it? Because life isn't full of any other problems or disputes? People who feel weak. Want to make you look weak and they want as much as possible to convince those around them that your the problem. It's not what they were doing to you secretly that was the problem, its you and your state of mind. They can go as far as convincing you, that you are crazy.

Here is where you win. When they lie, they weaken a part of themselves. When they look in the mirror, it's the lies they see, and there's a sense of disgust at themselves for having to lie in the first place. Gas lighting is cruel, its sick, sadistic, but most of all it's weak. It takes a strong person to look you dead in the eye and say, "this is what you did to me, this is why i did it to you." With honesty there is resolution. Yet when someone is too weak to be honest, it tells you all you need to know about them, and who they are really.

Tackling your truth:Understanding your motivation

What is your truth? As much as I talk about positive thinking. Life is more than positive thinking. You don't need just a strong mindset, you need a powerful strategy and you have to be willing to take the steps to make whatever you need happen....happen. For example someone's positive thinking and suddenly a car comes out of nowhere and runs them over. Positive thinking alone will not get you through that. Life is action and reaction. What is the next step?We have to consistently think about what follows? What do i do next.

What do you plan to do next? Write an album/ Write a book? Do a film/ Star in a play? Go after something you are passionate about. Take positive action. Talking and doing are completely different things. We can all see how beautiful that finish line looks, how beautifully polished how eloquently vanished, and clean it looks. Before it gets there, that takes work. Real hard work. Engage yourself in the doing, excite yourself for you are in the process of something phenomenal that may not just change your life, but the life of those around you. Focus, remain on point. Focus on other key things such as being happy. Your joy is imperative to the process, you are in the creative process, let your juices flow and indulge your senses.

What motivates you? Is it failure? The possibility of success, the potential to travel far to triumph, to test your capacity, and see your visions realised. Whatever your motivation, you need inspiration as fuel. For imagination. Read often, biographies. Autobiography's, be inspired by other people's journey's.

labelling the liar:How to deal with someone's lies

Liars know the secrets buried within their own hearts. No matter what they speak, deep down they know that they are being dishonest and there is an anger that comes with that. Anger that they weren't brave enough to tell the truth and face the consequences, especially if beneath it all lurks a good spirit. This would put them in a state of internal conflict. How do we define good? People who go to church ? Eat all their vegetables? Pay their mum's rent and bills? A good person will not suffer anyone their own personal consequences. They won't creep out whilst some other person deals with the consequences, or creep in secret hoping they won't have to bump into the person they've disappointed.

Outside of priests and the pope everybody tells lies. Maybe it's little white lies, or straight up denials. If your in the presence of someone who is a compulsive liar, it's time to move unto steadier ground. Someone you can trust is not decietful, and doesn't lie at the cost of someone else's reputation or theirs.

Liar is a label. Sometimes people are scared, and they lie. Insecure..and they lie, Some lie to protect the ones they love, others lie because it just comes easily. Be honest, if you know someone close to you is lying, or being dishonest, let them know you are aware of their dishonesty, and you will not condemn them for having the courage to speak up and tell the truth.

Simply put, the truth will set them free. If they continue with their lies you have to decide how much of their stories or fables your willing to put up with. Tell them where you stand on lies, set those boundaries, and make them clear. Explain that you are understanding, believe in compromise, but will not be lied to as if you were a fool. You are no fool.
