There are those that are inspiring,creative,and at times they even humble us with their warmth and even their kindness, especially with the positions they hold. The success that they embraced, their leadership and their positioning. How do they get there? Let's meet one. I have just sat down to dine with the most endearing leader and role model. Niclas Ekeroth. Both handsome and captivating, skin with a warm and earthly glow to it. He has a smile that engages you instantly, and a bubble and excitement about him that is both magnetic and exuberant. Niclas is the Global vice president of Burburry,the global fashion brand. That has sold millions in retail stores of fashion apparel. A tall, elite , Muscular and athletically toned man with dark hair , dressed in elegant and trendy fashions. He is both accessible and polished. So what is it about Niclas that has made him so successful? As we talk and share stories, I study his body language a man at ease with himself. Comfortable in his skin, relaxed and yet inviting. It is this ability to translate. The global dialect of sophistication meets confidence. An Excalibur within itself. A might. The ability to communicate and be so accessible, and yet maintain a level of distance and intrigue,allowing the world entry and yet defining a line. He speaks of treating each person as an equal, from the janitor, to a person of much higher and elite status. Branding as a bassline

Copycats. Who doesn't hate a copy cat, they have no sense of brand identity, creative realism, or surrealism, they lack the emotional output and the understanding to fully eliminate the competition. They are as plankton hanging on the edge. Branding is much more than understanding your target audience, it is hearing their needs and wants when you sleep. Deciding to go the extra mile to the places they shop, network , hangout, having discussions with them and identifying them not just as a uniformed mass, but as people with distinct identities and a story behind what they do, and why those products are active participants in their lives. For example Indiana likes a new brand of trainers, although as a young girl she would follow the americanisation of her social culture, and would fit in more with Nike brands. She's chosen something alternative, why does she choose the alternative brand.Lets call it strike, the caption in the ad being, bold assertion for brilliant minds. Indiana is a girl who values her individualism, she likes to hang out with her friends but she also likes time apparent to herself. She's the most aggressive athlete on a girls football team, and she took an interest in the brand because she liked their football trainers. Branding is about listening. Listen long and listen deep. Focus groups, surveys, look at what your audience are searching for on the web, can you offer them a better alternative, and why should they choose you over a brand that their safe with that may have been in their family for generations?

When I was younger love was the immaculate sketch from a well edited, and re edited manuscript. I learned through the pain of real life experiences. Romances or almost romances gone wrong, I was denying myself a freedom, an education, growth, whilst I rotted away in my own rage and self pity. I had made the worst type of investments, id invested in people I knew were wrong, hoping to get an expensive stock market portfolio. They were cheap characters, and I felt cheap, and over and over again i felt frustrated, because I was trying to be mr Majeika and turn plastic into gold. Choose you, above all else if your 'damaged' or 'hurt' or 'broken' in some way, focus on building yourself up. Freeing that self esteem that is buried beneath a pile of hostile crap. Take yourself shopping when your down, treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure, bubble baths, say positive affirmations about yourself, and celebrate the things you've accomplished even when your falling apart. Positivity brings strength , stay as positive as you can. Rebuild a belief in yourself and trap it in the ball of your hand.

Cowards always lurk in the shadows. Their there for the explosions, fireworks, they want a pat on the back for the feistiest comment. Yet we've all seen cowards in the street and been disgusted by how little they had to say without a standing ovation. They are cowards for a reason. Weak you cannot expect much from them as individuals, the consistency is to disappoint.

You  have to ask yourself another question? What growth is there to come from someone with no real identity, weak and rides on the destruction of others. If you have running shoes tie them tight, you have become an athlete...sprint for your life. Negative energies Feed off  a strong feed. Focus your mind on positive things. Your strengths, your goals and your ambitions.

Build a mental log of all the things that make you happy, call on them when you feel vulnerable. For example if you love to go to the cinema, go to the cinema. Shopping, shop, swimming, swim,

Speak positive powerful things into the universe and use consistent action to secure them. Visualise your joy, visualise your success. Think as though the world is your oyster.
