The abundant mind

In my life, in your lifetime...people will doubt you, people will celebrate you, and some will come out to destroy. You must build for yourself a second skin, you must celebrate the triumph of rising every morning from the slumber of negativity, the hindrances of the past, glaring at your reflection in the mirror and saying with pride... I am still here. From Goliath i am a David. Agile, tactical, able to predict the chaos of a tempest that arises before you, flexible and distinct, wise from past experiences and adaptable. There will be days where you will feel like a crushed beetle in sand, and others where you will be a panther in a jungle, life is full of contrasts. You are a complex self, always no matter what stresses arise keep your goals in your pocket. Taste the vision on your tongue, rebirth it with your lips everyday as you face your reflection, for this is your life and from what you can remember, you have but one. Make it special, prove beyond a doubt to the self that has been denied so much, that it will have access to a splendour of magnificence.Abundant spirit, abundant mind, abundant life.

The promise of perspective

When you change your thoughts, you change your perspective. I am there with you. Wherever you are, whether you are trudging through the snow, weeping on your way back from a bad situation, discontent in your skin, trying to figure life out like an arithmetic equation, i understand the frustration about the self you want to become and the struggle you arise from. Each morning words chisel to the bone. Dialogue like acid tearing away at the person you are becoming, you are not alone. I was mad for so many years, why wont they let me be happy, all these others and their piggy back problems, those people who loathe the varying versions of themselves. Yet i continued to listen to their words, whispers that would plant granite in my eardrums like stones making me deaf to hearing my own potential. It is not what others tell you, it is who you know you are that counts. This self is no fixed metal, we are liquids, shape shifting in time. Love yourself, and the person you are evolving into. Feed this soul, knowledge, wisdom, the educated words of great leaders, those who have met your challenge and walked away with their head held high and their confidence like a tattoo on their breast. Change your thoughts about yourself, write statements that build you up. I am learning, i am growing, i am seeking, i am building, i am growing, i am possibility, i am infinite, and you will access progress and a season of productive change.

Ridding rejected feelings

The charm offensive. The dashing smile. Most of us embrace a smile, it's welcoming. It's open body language, it says, 'i'm inviting you into my world.' Or sometimes we smile just to be polite. Then there's the pushed out smile, when you can't stand someone but you push your cheekbones up like you have lemons in them, and appear to be as 'friendly' as you could muster....for that individual anyway. What if you really like someone though and you can't seem to read their body language? What if two plus two equals four with everybody else but with this person your wondering if it equals ten million. You learn a lot about someone's character when you take a risk on them? Not the superficial admiration from afar type of quality, but the i've placed myself in a vulnerable spot, although it is very important to keep your dignity in tact.

Wether your rejected, or accepted. You want to still like yourself when you look in the  mirror. If you are bonding with the guy of your dreams, and in a smoothe moment, you lean over and attempt to give him a kiss, or ask him out and get the most brutal rejection you've ever experienced in your life. You want to be able to lift your head up, keep your back straight and walk with pride.

There are some gorgeous girls out there, who are not celebrated, they reach out to the guy they like who can't actually see them for the jewels that they are because sadly, men can be quite shallow. They get rejected and find out the guy is going for the next hottest topic, or the most popular, or well known girl, guess what? Shuffle your feet and keep on stepping. Women are more emotional
creatures and maybe i'm speaking from my own perspective but we tend to see real qualities more. For example a woman is more likely to like a guy because she believes there could be a real connection there, he seems warm, he's kind, he's a great communicator, he makes you want to talk more to him and embrace him on a deeper level, with some guys sadly it can be very surface, and they learn the lesson too late. What's likely to happen is the girl they didn't like get's rejected by them becomes super super hot. If she's smart she decides to build her confidence, goes after an even hotter guy that's less shallow, and ends up extremely happy. Do you get my drift?

So when you as a gorgeous woman comes across a guy that doesn't decide your for him. I mean i reached out to a guy who i was convinced liked me, only to hear back that he was telling everybody he knew how 'ugly' he thought i was and how flawed he thought i was. He seemed like such a nice guy. It wasn't his looks because i didn't find him good looking, it wasn't his personality because he was never my type....he just seemed like a really nice guy. Boy was i wrong. Sadly i needed to make a stupid mistake so i could personally see what i couldn't see clearly. Now i look for qualities you can actually see.

Agenda: Why a bully thinks your the hottest target

When in the presence of a bully or someone trying desperately to desecrate all over you, keep that neck tall and that head held high. You are saying, you cannot break me, you cannot harm me, I'm stronger than you and we both know it.

I used to come across someone who specialised in belittling me. If there was a degree in it, she'd probably try and upgrade to a masters. The only way she could be funny, entertaining, interesting was by making me the butt of her joke. It made her feel confident. As those around her, egged her on, promoted her foolish behaviour to a platform, she started to feel as though she had something to offer. Yet in true jealous, bully form, her insecurities would still creep into her head, whispering sweet nothings in her ear.Her jealousy was painfully transparent, especially when men were involved.

Simply put the source of most bullying is insecurity. I'm not saying that the targets of bullies are often saintly, innocent victims, because i'm not. I'm quite feisty and quite tough. Bullying can happen to anyone. Wether your having a weak moment, or your seen as a threat in some way. Bullying happens.

What you need to keep in perspective is the real agenda behind it. Most people slump into the victim state of mind believing that the problem is them. What's wrong with me? I'm so flawed, so damaged. People dont like me...That's what the bully wants you to think, unless you genuinely are a nightmare. Most of the time you have to assert your strength by paying attention to what the agenda is. Is it jealousy? You've suddenly gotten the interest off someone they like and they cant stand it, you get too much attention and are paid too many compliments, or maybe your smart, charismatic, sociable, whatever the reason, look for the agenda behind it.
