A beauty is planted
Where spotlights dimmed
A metro city
Charcoal unlimbed
Yet that hue of blue
Soft on you
The pride that comes
With the purple
Of skin
Am I upside down
Or outside in
This wasteful tide
Of heated words
The egg is boiled
The cock
Walks slurred
Chasing the hens
So far to reach
