Life should be simple, 
Not complicated, 
Not because I am 
Uneducated, 
Not because, 
I'm too laidback 
Or slack, 
But because, 
Time should let me 
Rest my back 
Or take a pause, 
And draw some air, 
Or rest my neck, 
Even stroke my hair, 
Life, 
Should be simple 
So I can breathe, 
Or wriggle my toes, 
And massage my feet, 
Or close my eyes, 
And even sigh, 
Because life's about me, myself and I, 
But on this subject, 
I never forgot, 
Simple is something 
Life is not.
