liar boy

The little
boy told too many lies,
he was hungry for them,
 like maggots they'd crawl
out of a gaping hole.
Each parasite landing to punish the world.
Lemon, acid. Which honest tool
For your the liar
I'm the fool
To link to ghosts which seize their steps
And laugh as Africa is bereft
For rotting corpse
What say you of the dreams they live
Where cucumber cats
Tiptoe between thighs,
Weaving blankets for the salt you make
as mermaid weeps
And laughter cries
Dead things that whisper
Claim your throat
Your candied eyes
That hollow boat
For as others whence you sail
Now you ride
On hungry whales
