east from east
East from east
And west to west
We ride in circles
With no horizon
silver giants upon the moon,
Her battered frame
With tedium surprising
For camels
Only perish here.
They spit too easily
Their bitter tongues
The mule is crushed
Yet drags its feet
An arrogant horse kicks
At the hay
For we were here
Yesterday
The month Arizona lost its belt
And all the stars they cried for help
Begging of the angry clouds
And still
And still
We're sleeves of leaves,
Despite the fiesta
of Earth mothers breeze
we switch from right
we beg from
Left
Without my shoes
I have little left.
