Battered limbs
I entertain t h mountain climb
Website the edges rugged cliff
With jags
Each pierce
A ghost
Lurks as a hag
A pint of blood
For desert wounds
For in the blood
And dried up waste
We taste the fear
It gives us haste
A snake uncurling
In its lull
I feel sick
We were giants before
Memories line up
Like clanging chains
We search for shores
To rest again
